The Hesbaye region
Important pantry in Belgium, the Hesbaye region is characterized by its large open landscapes. Situated in the heart of Belgium, the Hesbaye is one of the most fertile regions in Europe.
With its silt layer of several meters depth, the Hesbaye soil is a real geological exception and seems ideal for the high-quality taste of the vegetables, esp. the carrots.
The Hesbaye villages with their castle farms live peacefully at the rhythm of the farming seasons.
